Dealing with the loss of your guinea pig is unfortunately an inevitable thing we as guinea pig owners have to deal with at some point in the future. With a general lifespan of 5-7 years, guinea pigs have a shorter life than most other larger pets such as cats and dogs.

Most people truly love their piggies so it’s just as hard losing a guinea pig as it is any other pet.
